After breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech, we depart by 4×4 towards Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass — the highest road pass in Morocco. Enjoy traditional Berber tea in the Atlas, then visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site: Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.
After lunch in Ouarzazate, we drive through the scenic Draa Valley to reach Zagora.
Dinner and overnight in Zagora.
Day 2: Zagora – Mhamid – Erg Chigaga
After breakfast, visit the historic Koranic Library of Tamgrout. Continue south to Mhamid, the last village before the desert, where we stop for lunch.
Then journey off-road to reach the great dunes of Erg Chigaga — the largest dunes in Morocco (300m high, over 40km long).
Enjoy the sunset over the dunes, followed by dinner, traditional Berber music, and an unforgettable night in a nomadic tent under the stars.
Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech
After breakfast and a camel ride (1 hour) in the dunes, we head toward Foum Zguid via the old Paris-Dakar rally route and the dry Lake Iriqui.
Lunch stop in Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets. and back to Marrakech
