6 days desert tour from Marrakech

Day 1 : Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Our tour trip from Marrakech to Merzouga will follow this program. In the morning we will drive through the High Atlas Road passing from the highest road of Tizi N’Tichka, after that we will continue through the several Kasbahs road reaching into Telouet, along this path most of the people living in that side are Berber; however, Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou is originated by berbers, and it’s one of the most known in Morocco which called as the Hollywood of Africa. Later on we will visit the gate of the Sahara Ouatrzazate, where we will stay at one of its hotels enjoying with the climax of the Sahara.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Agdez – Draa Valley – Tazzarine – Gorges of Mharech

Today we will drive to Zagora about 120 km from Ouarzazate. We will visit Taourirte Kasbah, after we will pass through the road of Tizi N’Tinififft , it’s the way to reach into Daraa Valley; the most important thing within this path is the descent through a few twists over the canyon and through small oases in the direction of town Agdez. Along our way we will see many Berber villages such as Tarazine and Alnif on where we will pass to reach into Gorges of Mharech. We will also explore one of the old roads which lead to the sahara desert which is the Dakar Rally. We will spend our night at one of the hotels or Riads in Mharech.

Day 3 : Mharech – Oasis Ramlia –  Ouzina dunes – Merzouga

We will continue our tour (Marrakech to Merzouga)  taking road through the sahara desert till reaching to the oasis and dunes of Ouzina, its runs parallel to the border with Algeria. By arriving to Merzouga we will have the chance to visit one of the most wanted places in the sahara, where several foreigners come to have a wonderful experience here, they call it Erg Chebbi. Merzouga is the place we choose to stay at one of the hotels; this last is known around the world because of its beauty also because of the international sports which are planning here. At this moment we will enjoy with one of the unbelievable image of sunset, then we will spend the night at one of nomad camps which made by Berbers.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Off-road desert tour– Visit the nomads – Merzouga

By the day rising and before the sunrise we will be ready to catch this panoramic moment. After that we will come bach to our hotel to prepar ourselves for exploring the highest dunes in the sahara desert, call it Erg Chebbi. Then we will cross the Paris-Dakar road to get in the oasis of Tissardmin, it’s a traditional and heritage Ksar (village), the Khamlia town will be also from our visits program its people origin is from Mali where Gnawa came from. Later on we will have our lunch where we are staying, at the afternoon you will be free to deal with the sand dunes, and our night will be special because we will spend it with Berbers who are going to make our tour looks wonderful. At night we will be at the hotel.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges  – Dades Valley

Leaving to Rissani (the origin of Alaoite family which still governing till now) of  the city of huge souk and where you can see many traditional products are producing to be sold. Then we will drive 22.7 km to reach into Erfoud, and it’s known with the fossil works; however it’s the first in term of producing dates over Morocco. After that we will reach into Palmeral of Tafilaiet, before getting into Dades Gorges. We will spend the night in Dades grooves at one of its hotels.

Day 6 : Dades Valley – Roses Valley  – Skoura – End of tour from Marrakech to Merzouga

To end our tour trip we will drive from Dades Valley to Marrakech. The distance between those two places known with its richness of the Kasbahs, passing through Kalaa Megouna or the kalaa of Roses, it’s very famous here in Morocco with its festival of rose which practicing every year, after that we will drive to Marrakech in where our tour trip will finished.
