Merzouga 4×4 desert Excursion

4×4 Desert Tour:
If you like a tour in a four-wheel drive vehicle (4×4), we have one of the best trips in the world. With professional drivers, they will take you through the Erg Echebbi dunes, which stretch for more than 35 km, passing through several villages such as Hassi Labied, Merzouga Khamlia and more. Each town offers a variety of beautiful things to see. In Hassi Labied, you will stop and enjoy the small oases with their ancient water fountain that has been running for centuries in the same place. It is an opportunity to learn about the irrigation system in the region. In Merzouga, you will enjoy the big lake in the middle of the desert (Dayet issrej). On rainy days, the lake is filled with a variety of immigrant birds such as pink flamingos.

The journey will continue to the Gnawa village of Khamlia where you will be greeted by the Gnawa people (people who were once slaves, as the stories say) who will welcome you with Berber whiskey (Moroccan tea) and Gnawa music. After Khamlia we will head to the panoramic views of the golden dunes on the Moroccan-Algerian borders and have lunch under the tamarisk trees before visiting the nomads and their families. The trip is not only to see and enjoy life, but you will also learn about the different Berber cultures in this splendid land and discover the volcanic rocks in this virgin land.
