Day 1: Errachidia to Merzouga Desert through the Ziz Valley and Erfoud city. We will come to you at the Errachidia hotel or airport. Errachidia is a little town a short distance from the Sahara desert. We plan to traverse the desert, particularly in Erg Chebbi. Along the route, we will pass by tiny villages like Erfoud, which is well-known for its fossil shops and other stores that sell traditional Saharan attire, as well as the stunning Rocky Mountains, a grove of palm trees, and other natural areas..
We get up early today to witness the magnificent dawn, when the dunes’ hues and the way the shadows move create an amazing sight. Arrival for breakfast and a shower at the hotel or riad.
