Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our Morocco desert tour commences by traversing the Middle Atlas road, linking Fes with the southern regions. En route, we’ll pass through several cities and villages on the approximately 461.80 km journey to Merzouga. Our path includes notable stops like “Lion City” or “Switzerland of Morocco,” Ifran, followed by Azrou, where the enchanting forest houses Barbary Monkeys. Adjacent is Middelt, the capital of Appel.

Continuing on, we travel the national road linking Errachidia to Erfoud, the Moroccan date capital. Notably, we reach Rissani, recognized for its expansive Souk and its Alaoite family roots. Finally, we approach the Sahara Desert, with Merzouga within grasp. Here, we’ll choose our lodging for the night, marking the culmination of the day’s journey.

Day 2: Merzouga 4 × 4 Tour – Erg Chebbi – Camel Trekking and Night in Desert Camp

Today in Merzouga you will start your adventure of Morocco desert tour by having the opportunity to experienced new things either using the 4×4 or riding camels to explore the wonderful sea deserts and to visit the mazing village of Khamila. Merzouga also known by its richness of the Moroccan traditional music so while we are there we will have the chance to enjoy some of it, however the Gnawa is the most famous one, also we will test the Morrocan Sahara dishes, with gathering of Berber nomads desert, and we will visit the town of Tissardmine, in the afternoon we will arrive to the hotel to prepare ourselves for a wonderful night on the sand dunes but after we will watch the panoramic view of sunset.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Gorges of Toudra– Dades Valley

At the very beginning morning you will be ready to catch the wonderful view of sunrise on the top of the sand dunes, which will let you see the sands as real gold. After a short trip on by the camel we will prepare ourselves for leaving to Tinghir and Todra Gorges crossing some villages such us Tinejdad and Todra Valley, along the road and along the river before getting into Dades Valley we will have time to walk and catch the important traditional views in many stops of our tour. Spending night will be at one of the hotels in Dadas Gorges.

Day 4: Gorges of the Dades – Valley of the Dades – Valley of the Roses – Kelaa M’gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate

Starting from Dades Gorges award Ouarzazte, along the high Atlas road we will see different cities and villages. In today’s Morocco desert tour we will drive to Kelaa M’agouna, in where the festival of rose takes place, and then we will reach into Sakoura where you can see the thousand palms, before arriving into Ouarzazate where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (End of 5 day Morocco desert tour)

Ouarzazate or the Hollywood of Africa is known with the several Kasbahs, while we are there we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah, Tifoultout, and the famous one the cinema studio or Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou. Later we will leave to Marrakech through Tizi-N-Tichka our 5 day Morocco desert tour will end in marrakech.
