Day Trip to Essaouira from Marrakech

Essaouira is a city in the western Morocco region of Marrakech-Asfi, on the Atlantic coast. And today we are going to discover this historical city, where its history was B.C, at that time it was an international port for the Phoenicians to seal over the Mogador Island and that’s why some of people called Essaouira “Mogador”; however, the city was fortified by a French Architecture a pupil of Sebastien Le Prestre de Vauban. Also it was settled by the Portuguese before the Sadian comes, so it’s very important to visit such city like this.

 While we are walking around the city we will see the most breathtaking views and we will enjoin its wonderful weather, also if you are an artist you would love the Architecture of the city and the style of living, it’s really gorgeous one. The city has a big walls called “La Sqala” in French language ( because of the colonization), also an oldest and big gates; moreover, it’s normal to see many arts works while you are walking on the root of cedar, and as I have mentioned before the city has a substantive nature, so that’s why most of tourists adores the city. You are lucky to have memories in such place like this one we go back to marrakech.
