Marrakech Agafay desert

If you visit Morocco for just a weekend and don’t have time to go to the Sahara Desert, you can take the Agafay Desert tour to feel the desert without a long trip.
During this excursion, just a 45-minute drive from Marrakech, you will get to know the essence of Morocco: the picturesque views of the Atlas Mountains, the rocky Agafay Desert, you will enjoy a camel ride, a glimpse of the Berber villages, and you will also have dress like nomads.

Pick up from your indicated hotel or riad in Marrakech in the morning. Next we will leave for Agafay,
There we will be welcomed with a welcome tea, followed by a camel ride through the Agafay desert for approximately 45 minutes.
Furthermore, if you wish, you can then enjoy a quad excursion.
We will get back into our 4×4, crossing the desert until we reach Lake Lalla Takerkoust, an unusual landscape surrounded by mountains that provides water supply in this arid area of Morocco.
Our next stop on the way will be the Plateau de Kik, a landscape dominated by an extensive limestone plateau. Next we will go up to the Berber village of Moulay Ibrahim, later descending to Asni, where we will enjoy a homemade lunch in a family restaurant.
Then free time in Asni (if it is Saturday we can have the opportunity to visit its peculiar market, back to marrakech
