After breakfast, we visit the famous Atlas Film Studio in Ouarzazate, then drive to Skoura and Kalaat m’Gouna, famous for its annual rose festival. We explore the Dades Valley with its fascinating landscapes, including the Todra Gorge. From here, we drive towards Erfoud, famous for its dates and fossil products. We have dinner and stay overnight in a hotel in Merzouga.
We will deeply explore the Merzouga Desert from a comfortable 4×4 vehicle. We will visit the villages of Khamlia and Hassi Labiad, plus explore the desert dunes. In Khamlia, we will enjoy local and live Gnawa music. In the afternoon, we take a camel ride to reach Merzouga desert camp deep in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in the Merzouga Desert equipped with all the proper necessities of a Sahara camp. We will watch the incredible sunset over the dunes followed by a traditional Berber meal with local drum music around a campfire. We will stay overnight in nomad tents.
After watching the sunrise, we will ride the camels back to Merzouga village. Following breakfast, we will pass through the villages of Rissani and Agdez. We will also pass through the Draa Valley to reach Ouarzazate where we will have dinner and stay overnight in a local riad.
On the last day of our Agadir tour, we will visit Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, we drive to Agadir.
From Agadir, you travel with our experienced local guide to visit Taroudant, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. From here, we travel to Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, overnight stay in a local riad with dinner.
