Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier – Asilah

Embarking on a 10-day journey through Morocco, we commence our adventure from Tangier, often referred to as the gateway connecting East and West Africa due to its strategic northern-west location near Spain. Our tour will take us through the charming village of Asilah, renowned for its stunning beach and impeccable cleanliness. The allure of this village will captivate us, making it an irresistible overnight stop on our itinerary.

Day 2: Asilah – Tetouan – Chaouen

Tracing the Atlantic Ocean’s coastline reveals breathtaking vistas and renowned towns and cities. Our exploration of this picturesque Moroccan region begins with a visit to Tetuan. Following that, we’ll journey to the city renowned for its distinctive artistic features, particularly its iconic blue and white paintings – the famous “Chauen.” This tourist hotspot captivates travelers and demands more than a fleeting visit, prompting us to stay overnight in one of its charming hotels.

Day 3: Chaouen – Roman ruins of Volubilis – Meknés – Fez

Unwilling depart from Chaouen, to continue our tour trip, to reach into the imperial city Fes.

We’ll pass by Molay Ismail city, known as Meknes. Here, heritage buildings like the impressive city walls await. Our journey includes a visit to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, dating back to the Cartagine dynasty. Before that, we’ll enjoy the charming village of Molay Idriss. Our final destination is Fes, where we’ll stay in one of its hotels.

Day 4: Fez

On this day, we’ll delve into the ancient culture of Fes, Morocco’s intellectual capital with deep historical roots. Many influential Moroccan families originate from here. The city was established by Idriss I, resulting in a rich heritage spanning its entire history. Guided by a local expert, we’ll explore key sites, including the Royal Palace’s majestic Golden Door.

Witness how the Medina’s strategic walls thwarted historical attacks, preserving its charm. The city’s mosques and Madrassas showcase stunning architecture, creating a religious hub for Islamic learning. Fes draws numerous international visitors seeking to deepen their understanding of Islam. Intriguingly, traces of Andalusian influence grace several buildings, a reminder of its past as a capital during Andalusia’s conquest era.

Our 10-day journey, starting from Tangier, will culminate with a stay at a Riad, providing a fitting end to our exploration.

Day 5: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Forest of monkeys – ERFOUD – Desert

In today’s morning we will across through the Middle Atlas path, passing the Switzerland of Africa or the Lion city “Ifran”. Continuing our way and passing through the largest forest in Morocco Azrou to reach in Midelt (the capital city of Appel) , and then we will drive though the Tizi N’Talghemt pass, along the path we will see a very big Mountains it’s called the neck of Camel with the 1,907 meters of highest. After that we will arrive in Errachidia, which was called “Souk Larbaa” in the past, and we will continue our tour trip to get into Erfoud the capital of date, before getting in Merzouga.

Day 6: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

The whole day you will experience new things, and also to enjoin your time at the golden Sahara desert. We will drive the 4×4 through the oldest road Dakar Rally, then we will visit nomad Berber villages, and testing the Moroccan Sahara tea, also we will share our time with the people living here and knowing about the way of living in the Sahara. The best thing in the Sahara Ocean is riding camels, and watching the panoramic view of sunset; moreover we will make our nigh special, there for we will lying down on the beautiful sand dunes with listening to the traditional Berber music, and if you liked you can spend the night at one of the nomad camps.

Remember: you can edit or change in these 10 days from Tangier to suit your travel needs and your budget as well. 

Day 7: Merzouga – Gorges of the Todra- Dadés Valley

There is nothing greater then to watch the sunrise from the sand dunes of Merzouga. After attending the wonderful view of the sun, immediately we prepare ourselves to leave, passing through the Rissani road, which known with the traditional Souk, also it’s from where the royal family of the Alaoite came, and not too far from this last to reach into Erfoud or the city of date. Later on we leave through Touroug and Tinajdad (small villages for Berber people), to reach into Todra Gorges it’s a series of limestone river canyons, or wadi, near to Tinghir town, we will have time to walk and see the beautiful view to the Gorges. Continuing our tour trip passing from Boumalne to reach into Dades Velley in where we are going tro spend our night.

Day 8: Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – MARRAKECH

Our destination for today’s trip and after having our breakfast we will drive through the High Atlas Mountains. We will pass the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where several cinemas’ works were filmed here such as Gladiator, Babel and other more, this Kasbah located in Ouarzazate the gate of the Sahara Desert. To reach in Marrakech we will pass from the highest road in Morocco called Tizi N’Tichka the views from this place are really wonderful. Finally we will arrive in our point Marrakech were we will spend the night.

Day 9: Visit of Marrakech

The program for today’s tour is discovering the red city Marrakech. We will visit many heritage places and we will walk around the city to enjoy its beauty includes: the Saadian Tombs, Menara Garden, the Palace of the Bay, Majorelle Gardens (it’s a wonderful ones), also we will visit the heritage mosque of El- Koutubia which was built by the Abu Yusuf Yaqub el-Mansur, after that we will go toward the famous public place in the world Jamaa el-Fna. Our night will be spent at one of the traditional Riads.

Day 10: Marrakech – Airport – End of 10 days from Tangier
